I might end up in the same situation as you! I am anxiously waiting for my chicks to arrive from Ideal. Postal missed the delivery date, which was yesterday.
USPS was supposed to deliver my new baby chicks yesterday. And did not. I googled "box of dead chicks" and someone posted one at Backyard Chickens! It was just last week, from the same hatchery, Ideal, but she was in California and I am in NY, much colder! I am stressed out, those baby chicks...
