    I couldn’t find my video of the chicken with a very big belly that swung back and forth when she walked. I posted these because I was worried that their bellies might keep growing like hers did. I’ll try to find the tool that lets me circle bits and repost

    We’re in Chicago- not many vets cover chickens and vets who do exotics are really expensive so we don’t have are own vet that visits regularly like chicago parrot rescues do. Moon Cakes is also pretty old.

    Some of the chickens at the chicken rescue where I volunteer are getting big bellies. They started getting them a month or so ago and they are getting bigger. Any ideas how to treat this?

    Odd egg/ lash egg?

    I have a molting bantam who stopped laying normal eggs. Are these shell-less eggs or lash or something else? She eats layer premium. Doesn't touch oyster shells. I've got the calcium/vitamin D pills. I tried some in yogurt. No go. i'll try some in scrambled eggs this afternoon. She...

    I've acquired a house chicken. The rescue where I volunteer had a chicken (bantam?) brought in because her people had a house fire. Our rescue has had some predator problems and although we have some bantams they were brought up outdoors so we thought she would be safer in a home. Problem...

    Abysmal scaly leg mites

    I'm am helper at a chicken rescue. First photo is November 8. He had bumble foot and I thought some scaly mites but then I noticed he was going bald on his chest and had those horrible sores. Are those scaly mites too or what. We do have ivermectin Please tell me if you can see the 3 photos.
