    I wish we could put up a fence. The problem is that we live in the mountains surrounded by streams and forest. There is no way to fence in everything.

    So update: Ava is absolutely thriving. I got her some friends because of how lonely she is. I think it was genetic. The new friends are of mixed ages, but all I could find locally. They all adjusted well.
