    Yellow Gunky Roo Comb?

Woke up this morning and my Roo looks like this!? It almost looks like a yeast infection on his comb. Anyone know what the heck is wrong and how I can fix it??

    Triple Yolk!?

We currently have four hens. Only one is laying, but she’s giving us 5 eggs a week on average. The weird thing is, they’re all either double or TRIPLE yolks. I hear double is pretty common, especially when they haven’t been laying long... but I’m hearing this triple yolk thing is rare, and it...

    Infection or poop?

this girl has been in our garage for a week after a dog attack. I cleaned the wound daily and gave her antibiotics to try and avoid infection. Today I went out to check on her and saw this on her back end. Is this infection or stuck poop??

Dog got ahold of a chicken

Boots update! She survived the night and was walking around when I checked on her. She’s still taking it very easy but is balking lots and acknowledging me. I’m going on every hour and hand feeding her water but she won’t eat yet.

Dog got ahold of a chicken

One of our 17 week hens was grabbed by one of our dogs today. The hen decided to fly over the six foot fence (impressive) at the exact moment that my kids let the dog out of the house. Talk about timing... She (our dog) wasn't vicious about it and clearly thought she was playing, but obviously...
