Wow thanks guys! I have had chickens for YEARS with no problems. This is the first time. Its quite embarassing. I keep a clean coop. I assume its because I adopted new chickens this year. They must have come with them. This will be a fun adventure.
I adopted a new chick this year and it appears it has lice???/ I hear that permethrin is the answer. What is something I can buy off amazon?

I am thinking of adopting a Canadian goose for the winter. We have a local bird sanctuary / hospital but they said they won't take her for the winter. She was born this spring but was injured and now can't fly. A family has been taking care of her all summer and she is friendly. Her family...

I just moved from Ontario to Quebec and I have just learned that they don't have any of my usual feed supply stores (TSC / Co-op). Can anyone give some names of feed supply stores in Quebec that I can google?
Thanks!

It's not an emergency but I have silkies and a strip of fly paper fell from the roof and became stuck to a chicken. I have managed to remove it all with no real issue. It's a very friendly chicken. The problem is now there is sticky goo stuck to her face. What should I do to remove it?
I am using a little space heater. I installed the proper line from the house to run it though. Running a heater off an extention cord might be a little much.
There are 5 bunnies living in there. They are Angora rabbits. They get along just fine with the chickens. Both dogs get along fine with the chickens too. Even the big black one!
I am not sure this is the right place to share this but I am almost done my winter coop. I built it last year. Just 1 layer of outdoor siding on it last year but this fall I added insolation and another layer of plywood on the inside. Hopefully this will keep my chickens cozy warm in our cold...
