I am an almost 80 year old that has done TNR for cats for going on 15 years. Also have 2 Rescue dogs and yes, I have 3 chickens, 2 hens and a rooster down from a dozen hens but neighbors think they can move to the country and let their dogs run loose so lost quite a few before County ACO could catch the two. Bear in mind we have 3 acres so when I tell you I have anywhere between 17-20 cats (depends on who comes to feed) and the two dogs, they have a healthy respect for chickens. They will walk 10 feet around them cause my rooster will get them. I love this website and thank you for listening.
