Older hen getting picked on by younger hens. Can I put something on the places where they are pecking her? They will most likely kill her if i don't do something.
I have a home built coop and 5 Polish Crested hens who are a year old and lay lots of smallish white eggs! Need ideas for deep bedding and what it looks like. I use lots of wood shavings which keeps the eggs clean but wondered what else I could use? Pros and Cons of different bedding? Thanks!
