    What are these?

    I brought home two new chickens today. Lady who sold them to me didn’t know what they are. I have 4 chickens but I haven’t seen this kind… are they barnyard mix??

    Hope she is a regular size. Just didn’t eat too good then. The lady I got chickens from had lots of chickens in a pen she was in.

    So looks like I have a gold raced Wyandotte. Are they supposed to be this small?? I was told that she was 3-4 months. She is smaller than the other two who are also 3-4 months.

    You are right about an excellent layer. They started to lay about two weeks ago since then they both lay blue eggs pretty much every day ☺️

    Yes. I saw that. Looks exactly like mine. I got two 2nd week of January. They still have not laid any eggs yet though. I hope they lay eggs soon ☺️

    She has gotten little bigger size wise but not big change with her comb or Wattle. Red chicken’s comb & wattle got bigger than this pic. It’s still small but but definitely bigger than first day

    Only 4 months?? That means they were only 3 months old. The guy got me good then. He told me they are almost a year😑

    Thank you. Lighter color egg I collected yesterday and today’s egg is on the left. So maybe barred rock since this darker.
