Yes, we do :) We unfortunately have had a change of plans and will not be able to go to the meet up sadly. Long story, but we have show horses and were contacted by a German TV show wanting to film at our ranch on the 28th and my son's birthday party is the 29th, so I'll have to miss this one ;(.

I haven't ever given the loose minerals as their mineral content is pretty low for the price. I do multimin 90 injections about every 3 months and the sweet licks. For the mucous yes they get a very long slimy mucous plug that comes out when they are in labor. It is the consistency of like ky...

I am not sure about Pygmy goats, but we have Nigerian Dwarfs that we breed around 10-12 months old. :)

Sounds like you're pretty well prepared!! One thing I might add, we use sweet licks vitamins for our goats. Especially during pregnancy and kidding vitamin deficiencies go way up... I would do as much as you can to keep the vitamins up in your doe ;)

Beards are really a genetic thing. Most bucks get beards pretty young if they are going to have one. You can see on our web site, one of our bucks has a HUGE beard while the other's beard is less than half. Just depends on the genetics really. ;) http://secrethillsranch.com/main/?p=785

I just saw this thread! I only saw a Cochin thread before. Here are our Mottled and Blue Bantam Cochins. LOVE these guys. Been breeding them a few years now. They are so much fun!!
