    I no longer raising silkies, they were always my favorite, I got cancer in 2014, and my flock was sold, but I did show and raise some pretty silkies. I now only raise black and lavender orpingtons

    I understand red combs only appear on Males unless female is at laying age. But, males usually have waddles before the females get theirs, now does the chick have waddles?

    thanks , the hatching eggs have low fertility rate, Only hatch a few out of a dozen, i do have chicks for sale right now, I have 2 males and 2 females about 5 wks old $35 for all 4 (brown and whites and oreos )

    they are a combination, the original bloodlines were Carolina rare chickens, and others I do have a pair of black English and may have some chicks in a few weeks from them
