Six or seven times?!? That door is going to be repaired the minute these guys fledge! Twice is enough, thank you.
Sure would be nice to put the car in the garage for a change.....

I'm in Minnesota. Sure hope they're not thinking of going for three! No, they will not get that chance. I'm clearing out that nest the moment the last baby fledges.
Hopefully by next spring, the smaller entry door will be repaired and can be securely closed, so this won't happen again!

Thanks for responding! It's an old stand-alone garage, and the regular "person" entry door doesn't close. Had planned to get that fixed this summer, but looks like I"m going to have to wait! But that's how she gets in and out.
Due to storm damage last fall, I no longer have any trees nearby...
A robin chose my garage door runner for her nest; those babies fledged less than a week ago. Got up there to remove the nest yesterday (can hardly wait to be able to use my garage again!), and discovered four more eggs in the nest. Has anyone else experienced this? It obviously is the same...
