My 2 chickens have found their favorite spot to dust bathe, but they do so by ruining a patch of grass. We have a large patch of dirt for them but they won’t use it!! How can I encourage them to stop messing up my grass and use the dirt patch I’ve set aside for them??
My chicken broke her leg months ago and to this day she still hops around. She is healthy and in no pain. All you have to do is make accommodations for your handicapped bird :) hope this relieved you a little!
we hatched chickens at my school and the other chickens were real breeds but it is definitely possible that mine is a mix. I am not completely sure where my teacher got the eggs from though
