    How many people have a pullet that falls asleep while holding it?

    This one lays down beside my daughter and "naps" with her...very strange. I have another photo of her holding the same bird and it looks dead...I guess it is asleep?? I call it the narcoleptic bird!

    Chickens that grow up together don't seem to notice differences as much as when you introduce a new one into an existing flock, but you never know...just keep an eye on them.

    Leghorns are cuckoo crazy!

    We have 1 leghorn, she was super crazy until she started laying and then she chilled out. My kids used to chase her all over the yard, they could usually catch her with a fishing net. Once she started doing "the squat" they could finally catch her. Silly birds FOR SURE!
