    Bearded Splash Silkie Hatching Eggs

Preferably ones I can pick up in TN, but I've had success with shipped eggs! Any recommendations? I raise my birds organic... as natural as possible and would be happy in supporting another small business! Hatcheries are cool too if you feel they have quality birds! Thank you!!

    Are My Chickens Sick?!

Have you checked them for lice/ mites? Are they doing dust baths? Mites are harder to determine than lice. Could also be chickens pecking each other. I've had issues with younger pullets plucking tail feathers to the point of bleeding. And it can happen fast! I've found feeding your...

    What breed is this chick?

Looks like you have Easter Eggers! Commonly sold as Ameraucanas because they lay blue/ green eggs. Sometimes sellers change up the spelling, making it that much more confusing when you're trying to learn this stuff. I fell into the Ameraucana trap and ended up with Easter Eggers but, they are...

    The EE braggers thread!!!

They are some of the coolest looking chickens! They look like hawks! Alice and Ginny sure do favor each other a lot! If not for their combs, I wouldn't be able to tell them apart! She looks like a sweet girl!

I'll check your page! It will be exciting when they lay! Mine haven't started yet, they are about 18 weeks old now so hoping to see some soon as well!

    The EE braggers thread!!!

Thank you! I ordered them from a farm in Michigan as hatching eggs! The quality of bird that comes out is awesome, much larger and less skittish than the ones I've purchased locally from vendors. I'll eventually breed these guys but it won't be until at least next spring. I don't do Facebook...
