    An idea for a secure coop....is it overkill? Thoughts on design?

    I have nearly the same thoughts but am in the opposite position. We've built our smaller coop and run first. I guess it depends on what predators are in your neighborhood. In my area--in the high mountains of Colorado, that would be adequate.
