Sounds like you're doing your best with poor genetic quality from hatchery stock. There's also several environmental factors that could be contributing, but my guess would be the genetics are poor and you are suffering the consequences of someone breeding for profit. Also, don't underestimate...
You know they poop every few minutes, right? Not having anything to eat for half a day is really bad for an animal with high metabolism. They don't take 8hrs to process a meal like we do.
I keep reading on posts that Flubendazole is the only reliable thing that treats gapeworms, and that Safeguard/Panacur's main ingredient, Fenbendazole, is ineffective - whether because of the dose on that photo posted earlier, or some other factor. Can someone clarify?
Yep, I can certainly buy a scale. The vet tech told me how much they weigh but I forgot :X So anything that's crumble form and above 16% protein? They both lay every day, and I do offer chick grit, but I rarely see them eat it.
