You know, I thought that too because it seemed like any more than 3 chicks at a time and she couldn't handle it . But thankfully my Cochin hen is a sweet momma :)
Thank you all so much for your advice . I went back out there earlier, she had killed another chick so I removed her. and so far the chicks are doing fine by the good hen :)
