My hen sustained an eye injury yesterday after being attacked by a hawk. Yesterday her eye was bloodshot red and she kept it shut, where as today she has it open sometimes and there appears to be a cloudy area over the eye from the injury. Yesterday and today i rinsed her eye out with an eye was...
I have her separated for now in a spare coop we have in our garage where it’s a little warmer than outside. She seems to be doing much better but because of her eye i want to wait until at least tomorrow to let her back out with the other girls.
I bought a triple antibiotic but i had read ones...
She was eating a bunch and drinking on her own again and seems alert and chirpy! This is her eye today. Not bloodshot red like yesterday but i can’t tell if the cloudy area is a scratch or if she’s blind or if it’s something that will go away. As far as her wing if washed it with the saline...
The only wound i have found. And her eye. It’s very difficult to get a pic but it’s bright red and glassy and watering. I gave her some eye wash with boric acid from cvs

I noticed the other day that my runt of the flock who never seems to be doing that great has a red and swollen vent area. I tried taking some pictures and it's kinda hard to see but can someone confirm whether or not this is vent gleet or some other kind of yeast infection or just irritation...

Good morning everyone! I just checked on the girls and she's not moving her neck like that anymore. I tried to feel her neck and there's no swelling at all either. I guess I'll keep everyone posted and if I notice any issues with her neck in the near future ill let you all know!
