Have you tried covering the cage with some leaves or branches so the critter can't see the trap, maybe that would help? Otherwise I would sit out and wait for it then shoot it. If you can get some timmik (sp?) it is great stuff and will kill anything that eats it and a little goes a long way...

Love the coop and especially love the pink nesting boxes. I think a pale green would be gorgeous for the outside color (but I love pink and green combos).
