He is definitely not an EE came from a reputable breeder with great lines of stock so he should carry the blue genes. I think I may try it and see what kind of EE's I...

I have an Easter Egger that lays mint green eggs and I have a blue wheaten Ameraucana and I was wondering what color eggs the offspring of these two would lay? Does anyone know?

This may be a dumb question, but there is no problem with administering Corid in metal is there? I have one puffed up lethargic 3 month old chick I want to treat everyone but wanted to make sure the metal waterer wouldn't react with the meds. Thanks!

The eggs were a big hit this morning. They haven't had eggs in a while. Poor baby now has a bloody comb after a battle with a silkie. Silkie doesn't know what he is starting... In a few months he may not want to be on this guys bad side!

Oh he is eating plenty trust me! Those little buggers are going to put me in the poorhouse! It is amazing how much feed they are going through. I swear he looks like he is wearing boots. He has a good personality though and he is one solid boy. He is way heavier than the ameraucanas and the poor...

I am sure that eventually this guy is going to look awesome... But wow... Talk about an ugly stage!

I am fearing this is a roo... It is so sweet I REALLY wanted it to be a pullet. It is around 8 weeks old.

I moved our last group of chicks out of the bathroom and into a building today. It seems so quiet in here, we have had chicks inside since the end of April. :(
