    My husband said the winning hens at the 4H fair this week had wattles and combs just as big as "his" so we thought maybe a girl.... hoping.... is it the tail feathers that give it away??

    This is our 15 wk old RIR Henrietta, is it a Henry?? Has crowed a couple times but we read that sometimes the dominant hen can crow?? Hoping it is a hen, but doubting it.... this is her sister Natalie
