    Floor of elevated coop - wire vs hard surface

    We are going to do a hard floor with sand so you can rakers out, that way they can roll around in it because they love to dig holes to roll in in the soft sand and dirt!

    My chick has sour crop, I think! Help!

    My 10 week old has sour crop we think. Her crop is really squishy and her breath does smell. We got her to vomit up a huge blade or grass and are feeding her chick feed soaked in buttermilk (I read that somewhere) but her crop is big again. Should it go down? Or will it stay big for a while?
