Can I introduce week old chicks to 5 week old chicks of a different breed?
They may be okay if they are about the same size, but the may be strangers so you may need to introduce them in increments and keep an eye on them until they get used to each other. I don't know what your brooder or run set up is but if you were able to add a divider that would work best. Good luck!- MerazT

Didn't think so, one does , one doesnt. Adopted them in July , maybe the feathered feet is what they were mixed with? Dunno.. lol- MerazT

Chicks and Brooder/Coop Transition

Chick temps
At 4 weeks they can withstand 70 degrees, I'd watch them to see if they huddle together , or piled on each other or just near each other. Good luck!- MerazT

Yes, I've never had chickens before and out of the small flock I have she seems different. seems she's always held her tail low...
