Thanks for that reminder! I'm not allowed to keep roosters in my neighborhood- only hens, so this begs the question- what will I do with those fellers? (I'll post pics soon)
Thank you for the warm welcome on this chilly day! I just borrowed a brooder from a friend. Am planning to expand the flock. Lots to think about__ especially concerned about how well my spoiled girls will take to sharing the run with some new folks. I have space to separate them if needed. But...
She's a retired educator, wife, mother of two, grandmother of one, garden lover, and keeper of her first flock of 5 hens who are now 3 years old. She's looking forward to brooding a few more to expand her flock.
