Our 1 year old & 9 month old Iowa Blue birds are almost done molting and are starting to lay again. Our younger pullets are laying as well. We'll need to wait a couple more months before starting to mate...

Thank you for the explanation. Is there anywhere that is easier for me to share photos of our chicks/chickens in the future, so as to make the best selections possible in the future. Facebook? (Since we are new at this, I'm gonna need input from the more experienced breeders).
We currently finished up our paperwork and blood testing for an NPIP certified flock as well. Just waiting on our Flock # from the State, so next Winter/Spring we should have plenty of chicks to sell here in Southern Illinois. :-)
