    Flies! I wish they would eat flies and cucumber beetles. What ever happened to bug control. My girls are slacking and now I have a cucumber beetle infestation :barnie

    I throw all my weeds and spent flowers in my chicken run and they eat most everything! Thank goodness my are doesn’t have the bad weeds they can’t eat and I don’t grow any of the plants on the don’t feed list :thumbsup

    :caf So cute! Great idea, while most people are crying about their Netflix asking if they are still watching, you are doing a great experiment! I’ll have to do the same along with my boys and take notes then have them compare and contrast with each other’s observations! :bun

    I’m thinking they may exaggerate but also it depends on the breed and the environment. Mine all lay on a good day and some time half of them lay and I’m happy too.

    Frozen eggs

    I use them cold/frozen/warm unless cracked otherwise they go back to the chickens. It’s hard to throw an egg away in the winter when they lay less eggs already!:caf
