    My one girl still lays a soft shell every so often. I still don't know why. But other than that she acts normals and still gives me normal eggs most of the time.

    This exact thing is happening to one of my girls now. Did the situation work itself out? Or did this keep happening?

    This literally just happened to one of my girls. As I was looking at this she laid another soft egg. This morning she laid a normal one. Very strange. This isn't the first time either. She has only been laying for about 3 weeks.

    What cross is my new Hen?

    Hello! I just got my new hen and I was told she is a ameraucana golden Wyandotte cross. I'm not completely sure if it's true or not. Any guesses on what color eggs she will lay? Brown or blue/green? Really hoping for some color!
