No I didn’t go to the vet. And she’s doing great. Back with the flock. Some antibiotics and soft food for a bit and antibiotic spray for the wound site.

Hi I start off needing help

Just wanted everyone to know that she’s doing great! She’s eating chick feed that’s been softened and has more solid stools. She wants to eat a ton but I’m regulating it as her crop heals. She’ll get one more dose of the antibiotics today.

Hi I start off needing help

It started as a sour crop. I was massaging it, and I thought it was getting smaller. But she was scratching at it and I believe she scratched it open.

Hi I start off needing help

It’s not a sour smell it’s definitely an infection. I looked through posts and administered 1 cc of antibiotics.

Hi I start off needing help

I had one of my chickens crop burst. I cleaned and glued it together. She’s drinking water and had scrambled eggs this morning, but she smells bad like she has an infection. What can I give her?
