yes I remember chicks forming in eggs too without having to be incubated, from store bought eggs. not a pretty sight especially when having boiled them for 3minute eggs...lol I too am in my 40's.
Chicks were pretty resilient under tough conditions to be hatching then.
They are perfect for canning, being ripe or over ripe can cause jellies from setting, having a bit of the fruit green has a lot of natural pectin. and set beautifully, unless of course the boxed pectins have come along ways to get the job done. :) Happy canning
yep i use chia seeds on salads, oatmeal, I also mash up a bannana, a tsp of chocolate more or less a splash of milk a dash of cinnamon add chia seeds for a quick pudding. :)
