Just in case anyone comes across this post, I wanted to give an update. Number 2 (Now named Spicy) ended up the only rooster. The rest are his beloved ladies!
Hi everyone!
So, a little background. I’m a new chicken owner, and of course, am in over my head due to some chicken math.
I got my first set of chickens from TSC in March. 6 big girls and 2 bantams. They are in a pretty solid flock, I’d say. They do everything together and have a pecking...
Thank you so much for the reply! I’ve got one laying, and I SWEAR the others are just stubborn lol.

How dangerous for my bantams will it be to keep a Roo (out of my chicks)?
What the heck gender are my chicks?
Anyone want to help me with some chicks? Just some educated guesses would be good, not expecting to be 100% certain, of course.
They were hatched on June 30th, and I took these pics on August 4th, so exactly 5 weeks. They are supposed to be Jubilee Orpingtons, but the woman who gave them to us...
(1) Are you new to chickens / when did you first get chickens?

(2) How many chickens do you have right now?
13. We got the first six from TSC, and then someone gave us a batch of eggs...
