I have a light box I built :) you can find some cheap plans online and used LED lightbulbs for the lighting to get a white light. Did have to do some post editing to get the lighting whiter as well -

have four little roosters from the last hatch :D one of the blacks, on of the golden, the white and the brown gamey looking one. All barnyard mixes, now to find them homes haha- Miggea

Sorry for the photo dump! Haven't posted here in a while an we had a first hatch of some mutts this year (the chicks and the little group of cockerels and pullets) but super winter just meant myself and the adults hybernated haha -

I was never too worried about his genetics either way since I was after the EE hens for egg colours and the EE roo to make more. Not interested in showing or selling behbehs so he's just around to be handsome, replenish my flock and kick some predator butt if it ever happens to lurk around :D- Miggea
