Unfortunately 3 didn't make it more than a couple hours after hatching. im left scratching my head because all the babies have split and some are under the first mum and the others with the new mum. This also goes for the chicks that hatched last week. Maybe their versions of sleepovers!
I've recently had 5 hatch and mum is looking after them great. They're actually eating the high protein food the adults are eating but I've crushed them to make it easier for them. I'm also feeding them mealworms once a day for added protein. They love it![/IMG]
Second nest due to hatch in a few days. Third nest has 15 eggs but no female is sitting on them. Not sure if it'll turn into anything. Should find out soon.
