    ive created obsticles in the run area.Make it difficult for hawks is probably the best defense.Put up short pieces of wire fencing but I like ole roosters idea if ya know what i mean

    the best way is to hang it.Ive got shavings and no shavings get into the water

    Feeding Organic?

    I find that anything organic wether its chickens or veggies is too much work and expense and not enough reward.

    just keep being patient.it seemed like mine took forever too.I switched mine to layer feed a couple weeks before the expected due date....good luck

    when will the lay?

    well...Im not an expert but I know a happy chicken is a laying chicken.Be patient with them and they'll get to laying.
