    ok.. sorry everyone.. I just went and checked on her again.. She IS standing up and more alert now.. I was able to place my fingers in her mouth and was able to feel the jawline.. The jaw IS NOT broken.. but under her tongue is where the dog actually bit her somehow.. Its like it has been cut...

    ummm.. I wouldnt say hanging per say.. It is a slight hang.. she has her mouth open about an inch wide.. The jaw is split in half under the tongue and has about a 1/4" drop inside the mouth.. That sounds expensive? I think we may need to put her down.. I was planning on selling my herd..

    Goat got bit in the mouth by a stray dog. It broke her jaw under her tongue, if that makes sense.. This happened about an hour ago.. We have no emergency vet services for livestock in my town..     WOW.. Just went through all of these postings.. So sorry to hear you actually have to take this to court.. Alot of people would think it is petty and that you should have taken what he was willing to pay.. I say good for you!! It's not fair!! People should be more responsible with their animals...
