    I have a Welsummer and they are definitely different chickens. Look similar from afar, but the pattern on their feathers is different.

    I’m not sure! She could be. I can’t tell if they are laying yet. One may be (I would suspect Mary-Kate) And if so, it’s a medium-dark egg. Darker than I would expect from a partridge rock.

    Mine ended up being a pullet. She’s kind of an idiot but we love her. She’s got a pretty dark beard but grew out of a lot of her other dark coloring

    10 Week Old Americauna Sexing

    I’m guessing these were both boys based on their combs. Here is my 12 week old “Ameraucana” (EE). You can see how much smaller/paler her comb is.

    Attaching updated pics because I think they are growing into the most beautiful birds! They are about 14 weeks old now. We refer to them mostly as “the twins” but the lighter one is Mary-Kate and the darker is Ashley.

    Combining Coops?

    Thanks for the input. I’m not opposed to combining and would probably prefer that. Helpful to know some of the pros and cons of having them all in 1 coop vs 2.
