    I have had a litter with carrot cake that are now 3 weeks old. I had 5 consisting of 3 blacks and 2 chestnuts. Does that show any other genotypes of Clyde?

    Here is an update on our first litter of rabbits. We had 5 boys and 2 girls in the litter. Here is some pics of them at 8 weeks. We also have Carrot Cake's 1 and a half week old litter at the very bottom but they are all jet black except for 1 of the offspring.

    I just took each out for pictures. I plan on keeping them in for 6-8 weeks at this point. The adult rabbits have a pellet diet along with natural greens we grow in the garden. Would that be enough? Some of the babies have already taken interest in the greens and pellets. Thanks

    I singled out the litter and got pictures of each. I don't know if that will help determine the genotype better or not....and its fun too look at 2 week old baby bunnies LOL

    Thank you for the help, I just want to be able to understand the genetics to hopefully be able to breed the colors I want. Would more pictures be helpful of ALL of the rabbits to determine genotype? I am new at rabbits and don't really know what to look for like the "normal extension"...

    Now that I have offspring, I would love to start working on the genotype of the parents. I understand that a REW is a "light switch" but I figured that after seeing the offspring, I could start to work backwards to figure it out. Any advice on where to start would be awesome! P.S.
