    Considering Guineas.... need some advice.

I have about 15 guineas, and they barely ever eat my seeds or veggies - they forage in the grass for bugs, and they like a bit of cracked corn. They are VERY low maintenance, and fun to watch. and the noise doesn't bother me at all, I like it.

keets won't come out from under hen

I had some hatch out yesterday - 12 of them, so cute! I was lucky to find them before my dogs, now they are in a pen. The mother sits on them more than my hens do - but if I creep up on them I will catch them out now and again - they are probably coming out, but guineas are much more secretive...

free light brahma rooster - pure bred

    hen or roo

I thought this brahma mix might be a hen - but lately I am noticing a few rooish characteristics, like pecking at the ground and calling the hens over, a few suspicious hackle feathers and a very deep cluck! what do you guys think?

    8 week old light brahma

My two year old doesn't care about being clawed for some reason, she will just pick him up - actually he is very good at being a roo, protective and kind to the hens, just don't be a human, and definitely don't turn you back on him, or run past him!
