Keep an eye on your hens for a day or two, I would suspect they have another nest that you have not found. When one sneaks off they all lay in the hidden nest.- milomac

grain gypsy you may consider filling silo with sand and eliminating the steps down. It would make entering more easy and eliminate the flooding- milomac

I,d put my money on something else either a fox or you are not seeing the hawk. My opinion is that the cat would eat them right there. I have never had a problem with cats on anything other than baby chicks- milomac
