    They SHOULD be light brown, but I have some buffs who are laying pinkish eggs. The on in the picture, always lays a pink one.

    Two days after losing our beloved Eagle Eye to a hawk, I came out to the coop and found this: She was sitting on one, also, so three eggs that day! I still miss my BR Eagle Eye. 21.5 weeks old.
