I just looked it up, it does look like the big end is supposed to go slightly up. The one I have they lay on their sides, so I am sure it will workout. Let us know.
I agree with the others. I will put my eggs in a carton fat side up for 24 hours, then into a self rotating incubator they go. I have always had pretty good hatch rates with chickens, not so much with quail.
I love when eggs arrive in good shape and well wrapped! I got 21 duck eggs and ended up with 6 eggs after most of them arrived smashed! When I got quail eggs the wrapping was beautiful! =)
bogtown chick: I started them outside for the most part. I started my zucchini inside and it got so close to growing zucchini. I did get radishes now that I think about it! So not EVERYTHING died!
Soon2BChixMom: Thank you for the advice! I have been checking out the zone listed on the back of the packages of plants. I did check out the website, I made a list... then unfortunately never looked at it again. I want to grow vegetables (Soooo badly!).
