nail polish
Just brought home some one week chicks . The seller put some red nail polish on one of each chicks legs. I think they did it to mark different breeds they had. Guess they didn't know what chickens do when they see red :( What do I do? Surely I can not use polish remover to get it off! Could...- mimischickens

We know the polish "moe" is laying, have caught her in the act numerous times, pretty white eggs. Curlie the Cochin has never laid, she will be a year old in March. I will get more pictures soon. Thank you for your help.- mimischickens

These were taken same day back in December.....keep in mind she/he isn't yellow she/he is white so the coloring in the photo isn't exact- mimischickens
