    I've noticed that with my young hens, I can predict which eggs will have double yolks by the size AND shape of the egg... I have a very large egg that I'm guessing has 3 yolks in it... I need to candle it and see if I'm right!

    How Many Eggs Did You Get Today?

    I got 6 yesterday and 5 today from 7 young hens. The eggs sizes are so varied right now even though they are all the same breed. I'm told it's because they are young and just recently started laying.

    I have 7 of these young hens. They're not laying eggs yet but are the friendliest chickens EVER! They like to be held and petted, come running when I say "hey chickens"... They are curious, cute and cuddly! I am so happy I ordered them!
