Newly retired with a new place and space for a small homestead. First time chickens. I got a dozen. Four roosters are now gone, (THAT was disgusting) and four hens gone to predation. I love my 2 heritage Speckled Sussex and 2 mislabeled mystery hens (probably a white leghorn in the mix)...
