    Is Charlotte a Charlie? 11 week old black Australorp. I've looked a lots of photos of the breed, some that look similar said they were pullets. They carry their tails high, and eventually develop big red combs wattles. so I can't tell.

    The new coop is 8L x 4w x 5'4 h with two 4' roosts . Fencing around the new coop. There is space behind the coop for them to hang out. The chicks are 11 weeks old. The 7yr. old hen sleeps in the old coop that's 4 feet away, and she free ranges during the day. I just started opening the gate...
