I have had crosses before and they have had hard feathers (I think that’s what they are called) but if you breed those back to another silkie I think there’s a 50% chance of silked feathers but not sure- miohippus

Hi it’s been a little bit since I have been here, my silkie hatch these three chicks out and I had to rescue the chipmunk colored one from a snake out in my hen house so they are inside at the moment I’m not sure right now if it 100, because I have a Cochin hen who lays a few eggs but if it is...- miohippus

Ok, the pool has been frozen so they just had a small bowl I thought it was deep enough but I guess not or the other ducks weren’t letting her get to it how do you get rid of it? -
