I collected 5 eggs from 5 hens. Kind of surprised by that, truthfully. It's getting cooler and been really rainy and cloudy this week. They generally give 4-5 per day. It was funny this morning, one of my hens put a good-sized beauty right on the front porch for me. :)
They sure did. Hatched the week of the Solar eclipse, and first egg was Aug 15. I was pretty surprised, not expecting anything until 5 months or so. I have 5 hens/4 drakes and they average about a dozen every 3 days! These are they.
The blue/green ones look like runner eggs. Mine (chocolate runners) can range from 42g to 78g depending on the hen. Colors also vary and I have noticed that 1st eggs are more rounded. I assume that's because it takes a little longer for the first few. Also, don't freak out if you see a few...
