These are 2 very sweet little chicks that were added to the flock about a month ago. As you can see my kids love them. Any ideas on gender and breed? I don't know the age of them, just know they're smaller that the 15 week olds.
Buddy- just a bit smaller than 15 week olds

3 looks a lot like my Andalusian looked as a baby. She was supposed to be Blue but she's ended up Black to me. She had a whitish color on her as a baby.
I had to give the Mama away bc she was super aggressive. She started laying about a week after she left. I haven't heard from her owners if she has gone broody again. I still have 3 of her 5 girls and they are really nervous, flighty birds.
She looks a lot like the Mama I was giving with her 15 chicks! The chicks even look very similar. I still haven't figured out what they are, but the babies are 24 weeks now and I would say they are an OEGB mix. Very cute!
Thanks for explaining the Blue deal. I only ordered 4 chicks from Meyers and I am pretty sure they are all girls. When I realized I didn't have a BO, I started doubting everything!
They are 13 weeks old. Its funny because Meyers only has Blue Andalusians but CeCe doesn't look Blue to me at all. I pray atleast the Girl part is right! I had 15 babies at one point and had 10 boys come out of that!! My turken/cochin mix is the oldest hen (approx 8 months ) and all her...
So I was just looking through a thread of pictures from Meyers and I think I got the wrong breeds of chickens!!
This is Banana- She is supposed to be a Buff Orpington- But she's not is she? For that matter, is she even a SHE?
And this is CeCe and she is supposed to be a Blue...
My chickens were free ranging one day and my Rooster started making a noise I had never heard before. I ran outside and there was a Red tailed Hawk, still in the yard, trying to fly with a 10 week old chick. The chick was too big for the hawk ( it was an adult ) to carry away and ended up...
I got 3 chickens from the same guy and he lets them all free range. He can't keep roosters once they start crowing so who knows what he has going on. I do know that another one my husband picked out is very tiny, so the Bantam makes sense. I will post a picture of her. ( just because she's so...
I've had it for a month and it hasn't peeped since its been here. It is in my small coop with my 13 week old BR, EE and BO and its bigger than all of them. ( they still peep ) No feathers on its feet. I also have 23 week old mixes ( I don't know what they are either, maybe OEG mixes ) and...
