    Oh for sure, I don't at all expect people to stop shipping birds and I definitely don't think all experiences of it are like mine. But I do think it's true that it's probably not good for them and it's worth considering local options. But to each his own :)

    Maybe I should do that next time. I lost a few more to what I can only attribute to stress from shipping and I'm starting to think this mail order thing is more heartbreak than it's worth. Other people seem to have good experiences though so maybe I'm just the exception :(
