    duck identification

    What kind of babes do I have here? These pics are a week old. They will be 4 weeks on Sunday. Yellow one has some white feathers coming in on wings and dark one has a rust brown color on wings and chest.

    I just saw your posts. How did it all turn out? my ducklings will be 4 weeks Sunday. I still don’t know what kind they are. Anyone have a clue? The yellow one has white feathers coming in on wings and the dark one has a rust brown color on wings and chest. They are pretty big for being so young.

    Of course they are 10 times this size now, but here they are. No clue what kind they are, I was told they were pekin eggs but they are not pekin ducks.

    How exciting. I wouldn’t move eggs today at all especially w one pipped, it takes quite awhile to get the incubator correctly heated & the humidity set for it. Depending on which you get, the incubator would be in lockdown at this point which may make it harder to get stable. I don’t know. But...
