    Our vet has done everything

How true. She was such a trooper and we kept trying as long as she did. When she gave up we knew it was time to let go. Hugs

    Our vet has done everything

Thank you all for your kind words and support! She was a fighter and tried her best...as did we. I know you all can relate that she wasn't "just a duck". Take care

    Our vet has done everything

We have 5 pekin ducks, 1 male. We bring them into our mudroom at night due to night-time predators. 3 weeks ago Angelina was having severe balance problems when I let the crew out in the morning. Pekin ducks mating for the first time

Our Pekin drake just "did it" with one of our 3 Pekin hens and yes, he did the "victory lap" and she did her flapping. Thank you so much for describing the ritual as we were wondering if she was ok with it. Lol...apparantly :)

    Pekin mix?

Hi - a lady fighting cancer is selling all 150 of her ducks (mostly Pekin 1.5-2yrs old). We went to adopt 2 females. Her farm-hand caught one I selected (because she looked so unique) and one more via duck net, assuring me they were both female and laying. Well, their voices are different. The...

Solar Eclipse Blind Chicken? Reply ASAP

We were told to keep all animals away from the sun during the eclipse. Our coop is facing away from the sun so we have our girls locked in the coop. The girls are VERY vocal from the beginning of the eclipse to now. The dogs were extra playful just before it started. Have fun :)
